While access to state schooling has grown in many countries in recent years, many marginalised children continue to be excluded from this. Some of these children are able to gain access to education through non-state provision. This report looks at initiatives for school aged children to find access to non formal education, for examples through non-government organisations (NGOs).  It also provides details of papers which give an overview of experiences of scaling-up education reforms.
